Wendy M. Reynolds: Do you have any schedule books tours or Beauty Come Forth seminars?
Myra Wallace: Yes, my wonderful staff and team are working on my 2010 calendar now. We anxiously anticipated this book coming off press, so they could run with it. I plan to do book signings in every region that carries the book. I’m constantly doing workshops and seminars promoting not just the book, but also the Beauty Come Forth message and movement. I’ve always known that BCF was more than just a book. It is more than just about me writing the book. The message is deeper and the development of the Beauty Come Forth online magazine is a testament to that.
Wendy M. Reynolds: The magazine is amazing and exciting. I love the concept.
Myra Wallace: Yes, I’m so excited about it. The Beauty Come Forth Online Magazine is a monthly magazine featuring articles and information that address the lifestyle of women in transition to greatness. It will encourage, empower and celebrate women through fashion, finance, fitness, food, health, entertainment, and spirituality and of course beauty. Oh, it’s exciting! And there is a little something in there for the guys; we call it the “male” room.
The staff and writers are phenomenal. They are all working with enthusiasm and passion toward the same vision! I know I am not the only voice out there. This magazine will give others, who have like passion and expertise, a platform and opportunity to share their information in order to make a difference in the lives of many. Our readers will get excellent information, encouragement, inspiration and hope. These things are paramount for walking in greatness. I am confident that the readers will love it! And we will truly set the atmosphere to introduce the New Beauty Paradigm!
Wendy M. Reynolds: Myra, You’ve done so much already. You have made such an impact in the fashion industry, in the business world and even in the community through programs such as your “Reap what you Sew” mentoring program for women and youth. You are now impacting the literary arena with your book and online magazine. Is there anything else coming up in the near future?
Myra Wallace: There are plans to re-launch ‘MKO Man’ and my women’s line ‘The MYLA Collection”. In addition, I’ve started writing my next book. You’ll hear more about that at a later. As I stated earlier, things are expanding and evolving. On a more personal level, I look forward to focusing on my family life.
Wendy M. Reynolds: Wow, now I know why they call you a Powerhouse! Myra, this has been so good! This is such an exciting time for you! I celebrate what God is doing in your life. In conclusion, if you could offer any piece of advice to people- any words of wisdom that you would like to share, what would it be?
Myra Wallace: I would say, “Never let someone else’s negative opinion of you become your reality”.
